My friend and I stayed here for two nights in Aug 2017 and loved this quaint little cottage nestled in a quiet wood, yet only minutes from downtown Talkeetna. Forest views from every window! Well appointed cozy kitchen was perfect for making our own meals. Much more enjoyable than staying in the busy downtown area. We took the Hurricane Train (fun day trip), then returned to our quiet cottage to enjoy wine and dinner. Thanks, Sarah, for this lovely cottage. We'll be back! Rustic, yet cozy cottage right in town, and more affordable than any other place I looked for lodging close to downtown. We were able to comfortably sleep 5 in the Dragonfly Cabin with the Northern Nights Room addition. Thanks for a great spot, Sarah! We stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely LOVED it! The cabin was clean, cozy, and ready when we arrived. All of our interaction with staff was with a lady named Sarah. She was wonderful! She was always easy to contact and replied to all my emails almost immediately. In a word, everything was PERFECT!! If you're looking for an affordable, relaxing, clean place to stay in Talkeetna- I certainly recommend Talkeetna Cottages. We will be visiting again- SOON! :)
