We stumbled upon Aurora Dora on our recent visit to Talkeetna. What a wonderful gallery. What a beautiful person Dora is! We sure enjoyed viewing her stunning pictures and learning of their stories. Our purchase will find it’s place on our wall this weekend. We received it promptly and in excellent condition. Looking forward to a return visit in March. In the charming town of Talkeetna, you will find another gem - Aurora Dora. A professional to the core, this lady is very charming and knowledgeable and her work is outstanding. We purchased one of her metal prints while we were there in August and I just purchased another one for my home; I think of her and our beautiful state of Alaska every time I look at them. Stunning Pictures: It was a pleasure meeting Dora, my husband and i enjoyed all the beautiful photo's of the Northern Lights that Dora has taken. Dora is so friendly she took her time with us and explained where each photo was taken and when. With so many amazing pictures to choose from, we did finally settle on the one for us. When it came to shipping i must tell you that our picture was packaged very well, and was shipped in a timely manner. We would highly recommend going to see Aurora Dora. Aurora was absolutely wonderful! Every piece in her shop has a story, and she will share with you the tale of it's creation! I love all of her work, and am so happy with the print that I chose. Aurora offered shipping, and was kind of enough to send our purchase once we returned from our vacation so the package wouldn't be sitting out while we were away! If you head to Alaska, you MUST stop and see her, you will not regret it! Our experience with Dora was no less breathtaking than the lights in the sky. She was cordial and accommodating more than anyone could ask for. We bought a few pictures and could not be happier. If your in Talkeetna this should be a stop, this was our sole reason for going to Talkeetna and was very much worth the trip!
